![]() After doing some research, I learned that only Epson still had drivers out for this OS. I'm using Windows XP Professional 64-Bit. The troubleshooting sections in particula r were sparse, and went around in hopeless circles. The online and in-program help were mind-numbingly frustrating. ![]() The documentation was sparse - a quick setup poster, and a digital manual on the installation CD. Using my USB 1.1 hub, Windows gives me a 'could be faster' message, but scanner works fine. Using the front panel USB port, scanner works fine. Painfully simple solution, the kind I'd kick myself for not thinking about on any other day.Ĭons: Not a con of the scanner, really - setup was complicated because I have a damaged USB connector on my rear I/O panel, and didn't know it. Quick response to my installation issues from Epson tech support. ![]() Test scans of B&W negatives looked great. Pro: Handles 35 mm slides and negatives, and 120/220 medium format negatives and unmounted transparencies.
